Jan is a Chartered Fellow of the CIPD, holds an MBA, and is a qualified Executive Coach. She has thirty years’ experience as an executive in HR and Organisation Development primarily in education and research. Jan brings the wider perspective of an organisation development practitioner, which means understanding the wider context of people, systems, structures, processes and governance that enable organisations to perform.
Jan has undertaken reviews of governance in university and charity settings, providing information and recommendations that support good governance practice sensitive to the context and needs of the organisation. She brings knowledge and experience of a range of governance codes and good practice models and an understanding of the human factors of governance and governing bodies in organisations.
