Jason is Surveys Executive at Advance HE and has worked on the development and running of the Postgraduate Taught and Research Experience Surveys (PTES and PRES) along with the UK Engagement Survey (UKES) for over a decade. Prior to this, Jason worked in survey development, administration and dissemination at Sheffield Hallam University. His main interest is in exploring how the complex and diverse student experience can be evidenced and communicated to aid enhancement. Jason’s analysis of Advance HE surveys has been published in reports, book chapters, and journal articles. Jason holds a PhD in Politics from the University of Sheffield and, whilst survey research is a central part of his role with Advance HE, he has experience in a range of research methodologies, including case-study research and semi-structured interviewing.
