Márjory Da Costa-Abreu

Marjory's main area of research is ethical artificial intelligence which focus on creating models without using opaque boxes in several application areas such as health, forensics, higher education, hate speech/fake news and biometrics. She has over 70 scientific papers and has supervised over 20 Research students. She is also on the editorial board of the IET Biometrics journal and the Pattern Analysis and Applications journal.
