Michelle is Principal Investigator of the 2-year cross-institution StART Entrepreneurship Project (funded by the Office for Students and Research England, and in partnership with the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama and University of the Arts London), which explores ways in which creative industries degree programmes may best equip students with skills associated with entrepreneurship. Her research inter¬ests include music and time, perception of contemporary music, audience response to live and recorded music, music and maths, and music and Parkinson’s. She is also a saxophonist and a chartered accountant.
