His research group has been recently awarded research grants by prestigious cancer research institutions such as Kidscan. He has been a laboratory demonstrator and teaching assistant in Salford Mega lab facilities for the past two years.
He is passionate about the lab-based teaching experience and has been selected as a member of the Academic Citizenship Programme to become an associate fellow of the higher education academy (AFHEA).
