Vicky has worked for Cardiff University for 25 years, she co-authored the Cardiff model of counselling, currently manages the student counselling service and the student intervention team (SIT). Our Student Intervention Team facilitate the identification, investigation, and assessment of students where there is concern for wellbeing or disruptive behaviour. The team facilitate and monitor interventions for students who may be struggling emotionally or psychologically, or who may present a risk to health or wellbeing to themselves or those around them.
