
Overview
At Advance HE, there is currently a wide variety of conferences and events with open calls for papers. Submissions are welcomed to present posters, oral presentations, workshops and more in areas from artificial intelligence to equality, diversity and inclusion.
As a speaker, you get the opportunity to present your work alongside other experts in your field to a group of likeminded individuals to spark conversation, inspire change and motivate others to work to improve the higher education sector. You could be part of progressing the higher education sector in terms of EDI, student engagement, co-creation and more.

Assessment and Feedback Framework
Advance HE, in collaboration with Jackie Potter (University of Chester), Sue Beckingham (Sheffield Hallam University) and Rachel Forsyth (Lund University), are producing a practice guide for assessment to develop and support Advance HE’s Assessment and Feedback framework, for publication early 2024.
We would love to hear from you if have been involved in:
- designing assessments that showcase competencies*
- co-creating assessments with students
- implementing innovative approaches to support students' understanding of assessment
- developing novel approaches to promote student engagement with feedback
If you have examples of assessments, criteria, or evidence of a novel approach that has had a demonstrable impact on student engagement and outcomes that you would be happy to be included as a case study or example in the guide, please complete this short form, briefly outlining your activity or providing your example by 22nd December, 2023. We would be happy to receive examples and evidence from any level of programme or discipline
