Advance HE, in collaboration with Jackie Potter (University of Chester), Sue Beckingham (Sheffield Hallam University) and Rachel Forsyth (Lund University), are producing a practice guide for assessment to develop and support Advance HE’s Assessment and Feedback framework, for publication early 2024.

We would love to hear from you if have been involved in:

  • designing assessments that showcase competencies*
  • co-creating assessments with students
  • implementing innovative approaches to support students' understanding of assessment
  • developing novel approaches to promote student engagement with feedback

If you have examples of assessments, criteria, or evidence of a novel approach that has had a demonstrable impact on student engagement and outcomes that you would be happy to be included as a case study or example in the guide, please complete this short form, briefly outlining your activity or providing your example by 22nd December, 2023. We would be happy to receive examples and evidence from any level of programme or discipline

**We are using the term ‘competency’ to describe students’ ability to apply or use the skills, attributes and behaviours required to be successful in their subject of study and related professional field.
