Dr Jane White is a strong advocate for widening participation in higher education and has developed significant, sustainable initiatives to support student learning. She is the founding director of MASH, the institutional mathematics support centre which has become a national centre for excellence, with specialism in mathematics accessibility.
Dr Rachael Carkett has drawn on her life experiences and professional development activities to enhance the teaching profession and transform the practice of HE professionals who teach students. Her expertise in educational and academic development has benefited the professional development provision in many HEIs and educational organisations in the UK and overseas.
The LITEbox initiative is led by Drs Emma Rich and Jessica Francombe-Webb, Reader and Lecturer, Department for Health and Mr Rob Hyde, Audio Visual Manager, Computing Services and Mrs Sarah Williment, Head of Academic Skills Resources, Skills Centre.
