‘Using employability perceptions in Malaysia to inform the development of interventions for teaching and learning which promote a global perspective’

This project deals with the issue of how to prepare UK graduates (and the staff who work with them) for the world of work and their capacity to make a contribution as 'global citizens' and how to use research with employers and students internationally (in Malaysia) to inform work with UK graduates.

The Higher Education Academy in partnership with UKCISA funded twenty ‘Connections’ pilot projects in 2012 on the theme of internationalisation of learning and teaching. The projects aimed to make connections between different departments services and institutions and with local communities. They helped to support international students studying in the UK as well as encouraging UK students to take opportunities overseas and on their home campuses to be more internationally aware.
