Staff and student digital capabilities: Creating and assessing real world online learning resources for community audience - HEA Annual Conference 2017 - Generation TEF: Teaching in the spotlight

This session aims to introduce participants to creation of digital community resources as a transformative form of assessment. The presenters will briefly summarise their approaches located in inquiry based learning and students as partners framework and share examples from their teaching in the disciplines of psychology and physiotherapy. The workshop will engage delegates in a three-stage resource development process covering activities related to 1. Effective design 2. Digital capabilities development and 3. Reaching the audience. The outcomes will be used to engage participants in a discussion around the benefits and challenges of this approach and how to embed in practice
