After a year spent living and working as a Psychiatry trainee in Sydney, Australia, Helen returned to General Practice in the UK, working as a GP in Derbyshire for 5 years. Over the following 7-year period, Helen continued working as a locum GP alongside her psychiatry role, and she achieved a Diploma in Clinical Psychiatry. Since 2017, Helen has been working as a GP Principal at University Health Service, Sheffield, and as Medical Lead for Student Mental Health at the University of Sheffield.
