Teaching and Learning Conference 2019: Defining an excellent learning experience for Humanities students in remote parts of the Scottish Highlands

This session outlines research that has identified the ways in which teaching excellence and an excellent learning experience for students can be and has been achieved in the Humanities Scheme of the University of the Highlands and Islands. A blended learning model has been developed to deliver the curriculum to a dispersed population of students in a distributed network of academic partner colleges.  The session recognises where excellence has been achieved and provides examples in three partuclar subjects.
