She is an active disciplinary researcher, co-founder of the Bioscience Education Research Group, and committed to enhancing students’ subject-specific, transferable and employability skills.

Vicki Holmes is Head of Technology Enhanced Learning at the University of Reading. With nearly 30 years’ experience of digital learning, innovation and change in higher education at national and institutional level, she has brought about sustained and significant transformation in student learning and assessment, teaching practice and organisational culture.

Pete is passionate about helping students to lead and to own their learning and loves collaborating with them to create innovative learning environments and experiences. He worked with a team of students to create The iForge, the UK’s first student-led makerspace, and established UNIMAKER, an international conference for HE makers.
Dr Mel Hughes

Dr Mel Hughes is Principal Academic in Social Work at Bournemouth University (BU). She champions lived experience education at BU, nationally and internationally through her roles as Academic Lead for the PIER (Public Involvement in Education and Research) partnership and is Deputy Lead for the Research Centre for Seldom Heard Voices.
Adelle Hulsmeier

Emma Hyde
Job Title:Head of Diagnostic Imaging

Emma Hyde is a diagnostic radiographer, with 24 years' experience. She has been Head of Diagnostic Imaging (DI) at the University of Derby since 2013, and despite her busy leadership role, takes great pleasure from student contact and still teaches on DI programmes. She is also an active researcher, and is currently disseminating the findings of a large funded project on patient-centred care.

Dr Dawn ‘Theresa’ Nicholson has pioneered many pedagogical innovations linked to active, technology-enhanced learning and Education for Sustainable Development (ESD). She is also known for her passionate and committed advocacy of inclusive and decolonised curricula. Theresa has published research and scholarship on inclusive education; curriculum development and assessment; active learning pedagogies and ESD; student partnership, engagement and belonging; technology enhanced learning; and skills teaching. Theresa is a member of the NTFS Allyship Scheme.
Richard Jones

James Norman NTFS

He’s written several books for engineers and students making sustainable building a reality.
