Calculus Live 1.0 for Windows and Mac

This is a CD version of Single Variable Calculus 2 Edition by Hughes-Hallett and Gleason. The textbook is reproduced complete; a cut-down version of the Mathematica kernel is included and some of the worked examples in the text are live Mathematica. There are also stand-alone tools for doing partial fractions solving equations finding limits plotting graphs evaluating integrals solving DEs etc. Mathematica is used through dialog boxes avoiding the need to learn Mathematica syntax. There is a palette for entering formulas working rather like the equation editor in MS Word. There are no interactive self-tests in Calculus Live though they are available on the Wiley web site.
