Generation TEF and employability – not just about graduate destination - HEA Annual Conference 2017 - Generation TEF: Teaching in the spotlight

This session will present an employability strategy which applies the principles of the Teaching Excellence Framework (TEF) as reported by HEA (2016) in order to maximise a student’s employability from day one and throughout their University experience. The strategy uses a multipronged approach to employability of inclusivity engagement and collaboration – aligning with the Higher Education Academy (HEA) framework for embedding employability (Cole and Tibby 2013). This session will give delegates the opportunity to see how employability can be embedded by engaging staff stakeholders and students giving students choice and a broader student experience to facilitate student career aspirations
