If students use technology to learn teachers should use the same technology to teach

Art and design institutions are now much more confident in their use of ICT in teaching. In the area of Cultural Studies some tutors have been slower to respond. This research looks specifically at the use of PowerPoint as a tool to enable students to approach the formalities of structuring research information with more confidence. The programme allows for creativity and academic practice to operate side by side. The case study will focus specifically on BA Fine Art  students and aims to produce a comparison between students working with PowerPoint and those employing what may now be regarded as traditional methods.
