NET2019 - Trauma stewardship in health education: Intentionality, self-care and resilience

Trauma stewardship is a vital part of building a sustainable career in healthcare, and it begins in undergraduate and graduate studies. Concepts of trauma-informed education help faculty teach Social Work, Nursing, Counselling and other students how to be present to those who are suffering, in ways that can be sustained.
