Postgraduates who teach social policy - findings from a recent survey

A presentation from the Higher Education Academy Annual Conference 22-23 June 2010.

This presentation considers current Higher Education Academy subject centre evaluation framework fit with wider learning agendas and proposes the inclusion and consideration of more demographic data in evaluation and impact planning. In this presentation the author sets out to explore the ways in which two public sector frameworks for learning are evaluated for two different groups of people: older people learning in the community; students learning at college and university. The author contends that it is a good time to review some of the models for evaluating the impact of learning across the public sector and to identify common models strengths and weaknesses.
