In summer 2016 the Open University launched its first Student Curriculum Design Panel with the intention to engage students in the quality enhancement of learning and teaching practice and policy through a pedagogic consultancy partnership relationship. In this session we will share our experiences and lessons learned from setting up and running the panel and the challenges and opportunities involved with engaging distance learning students in collaborative partnership. We will share student feedback on their experiences and practical tips and guidelines for engaging distance learning students in curriculum design. There will be opportunity to actively reflect on and contribute your own views and experiences.
