The use of Technology Enhanced Learning (TEL) in delivering an inclusive accountable and transparent student experience in the age of the consumer student - HEA Annual Conference 2017 - Generation TEF: Teaching in the spotlight

This presentation will aim to convince delegates of the importance of our role as educators in delivering what our respective institutions contractually agree to deliver irrespective of the mode of learning selected by the student. Further the authors will seek to convince delegates that using a range of TEL tools to support learning whether face to face online or indeed flexible or blended the student experience and academic success should deliver accountable value for money. The presentation will outline the principles and obligations of the student contract followed by a critical review of the range of TEL tools which support such an accountable consumer landscape.
