This paper presents the findings from a HEA C-SAP funded project that investigated international students' experiences of exams in their own educational system compared to their experiences in the UK. International students from two Scottish post-92 higher education institutions (Edinburgh Napier and Glasgow Caledonian) were interviewed both before and after their exams in the UK and international students in both institutions were surveyed.
