Music and Social Class: Implications of Widening Participation in Higher Education for Student Experience of Teaching and Learning in Music

Study of widening participation issues in HE music. The research provides an insight into differing student experiences of studying Music at HE and the way in which these are influenced by socio-economic background. This information can be used to inform curriculum design and teaching methodology with a view to minimising inequalities in HE.
