Overview

This two-hour hybrid session will consider some critical aspects of leadership in the Australian HE sector, exploring the challenges and opportunities faced specifically in women’s leadership and the roles that we can all play in enacting change and influencing the future.

To set the scene, we will begin with a conversation between Advance HE CEO, Alison Johns and Libby Lyons, Chairperson of Science in Australia Gender Equity (SAGE) discussing their own leadership journeys and the purpose they bring to their work.  This will be followed by a Q&A session.

Continuing the theme around personal journeys and purpose, we will move into a workshop session on delivering impact through purpose.  Working together, in person and online, delegates will gather thoughts and feedback which will enable them to discover and activate their own sense of purpose and to consider what this might mean in creating impact within the community of female leadership at all levels though the sector.
