Assessing the un-assessed: A case study exploring issues around employability and professional practice through active learning activities - HEA Annual Conference 2017 - Generation TEF: Teaching in the spotlight

Through the dissemination of a case study/studies of un-assessed projects happening within the Faculty of Art and Design (FADA) at Kingston University the following questions will be addressed 1.What is the value of of un-assessed projects discussion will be invited on whether all student activities should be assessed. 2.How do we best define the value of un-assessed student work undertaken that goes beyond credit allocation. 3.How can the skills often demonstrated through active learning and professional practice activities be best assessed or recognised? 4.Does recognition of these skills aid employability? The presentation will be made through a short film power-point presentation and discussion
