Development of a WBL post-graduate engineering qualification

A presentation from the HEA Annual Conference 2012.

This paper describes the development and implementation of the first work-based learning STEM qualification within our Institution. Borne from the need both for an up-skilling in the national work-force and for diversification at a local level this programme targets experienced engineers seeking formal professional accreditation (i.e. Chartered engineer status).
