event based learning

Learning that occurs over a period of time and which has a sense of occasion can be described as an "event".

Event-based learning might be discrete or part of an ongoing blended experience. Examples of event-based learning include hackdays inspired by the notion of hackathons and run by groups within health and social care with the aim of exchanging knowledge and coming up with innovative ideas.
