Great Expectations: A study to compare and contrast the expectations of students attending a radiotherapy and nursing programme at the University of Liverpool - HEA Annual Conference 2017 - Generation TEF: Teaching in the spotlight

Aims: To discuss an interprofessional research project the aim of which was to gain insight into the pre-programme expectations of nursing and radiotherapy students and explore the potential link to student retention.

Objectives: To give an overview of the interprofessional research project including the rationale for the approach taken To discuss the findings and explore their meaning drawing conclusions and developing recommendations with the aim of increasing student retention for the respective healthcare programmes.
