This staff –student presentation will outline how student engagement arrangements have fostered more equal staff-student partnerships and widened participation of different learner groups in the quest to understand what constitutes excellence in teaching and how students can be supported to form and share judgements about quality in ways which improve teaching and learning. Staff and students will identify elements that seem most transformational and the evidence for this and then delegates will have the opportunity to join the debate.
