Overview
In 2017 the HEA hosted the second National Conference for Learning and Teaching in Cyber Security. The conference was established to prompt scholarship and innovation and identify and share best practice for learning and teaching cyber security in higher education. The 2017 conference was supported by the Department for Culture Media and Sport (DCMS) as part of the Government strategy to make the UK one of the most secure places in the world to do business in cyberspace.
The 2017 event was expanded to become a two-day conference having previously being a single day event in its inaugural year. The first day of the 2017 conference was devoted to student presentations posters and competitions. Day two provided an opportunity for academics and practitioners to exchange ideas through research and practice papers posters workshops and demonstrations.
