Healthcare is an evolving field requiring trustworthy evidence-based decisions. There is an increased personal and professional pressure in healthcare to publish high impact research which may or may not be valid. The West Middlesex University Hospital Trainee Journal Club has made significant steps forward to move from the traditional journal club where trainees were small voices in a room of senior healthcare professionals to creating leading positions for healthcare trainees.
