NET2019 - Demystifying writing for publication for novice or disillusioned writers

The prospect and experience of writing for publication can feel both daunting and frustrating. This workshop is designed for people who are new to writing for publication or have made attempts at getting published but are feeling disillusioned by the process. Drawing on her experience as a published author, peer reviewer and journal editor, Dr Gemma Stacey will share her insights into navigating the personal and practical barriers to successful writing. Her aim it to re-frame writing for publication as a positive opportunity for feedback, reflection, development and impact.
