Proof reading: Some points! - HEA Annual Conference 2017 - Generation TEF: Teaching in the spotlight

This presentation will summarise the results of a recent survey of policy on proof reading across a selection of around 50% of UK Universities.  Key points of variation and controversy will be highlighted particularly in relation to catering for people with dyslexia. This presentation aims to highlight significant variation in approach to this problem across the UK. Objectives are: to outline good practice; to outline practice of concern; to stimulate debate on what best practice would look like; to call for public and widely publicised policy
