Responding to stereotypes of the Chinese learner - HEA Annual Conference 2017 - Generation TEF: Teaching in the spotlight

The purpose of this session is to table stereotypes of the Chinese learner for audience response and subsequent open discussion of their validity and adaptation if any of teaching strategies. The author has researched the views of students & lecturers of Chinese origin in the field of management and wishes to compare & contrast the interpretation from colleagues of diverse pedagogic backgrounds and social science disciplines who have experience of Chinese learners.
