The C-SAP e-Learning Scoping Survey was funded through the JISC / Higher Education Academy' 'Distributed e-Learning Programme' (or DeL). This funding stream had previously been used by C-SAP to commission the creation of e-learning resources however we were keen to carry out a consultation exercise with our academic communities to try and elicit more information on just how people were using e-learning in their day to day teaching; what problems and opportunities did it present?; how were staff supported?; what recognition was given for the development and use of e-learning material?; what were the responses from students to the use of e-learning?; were staff sharing resources?; if they were creating e-learning material how was this supported?
