Sports Coaching Students’ Learning and Identity Development: A longitudinal study - HEA Annual Conference 2017 - Generation TEF: Teaching in the spotlight

The aim of this session is to introduce and explore the findings of a longitudinal PhD study. More specifically the study focused on exploring the learning experiences and identity development of BSc Sports Coaching students over the three year duration of their course. The findings are divided into four key themes: learning experiences; intellectual development; the role of the teaching staff and identity development.
