The strategies to assure students are placed in safe effective caring and well led practice learning environments to support and retain the future nursing workforce - HEA Annual Conference 2017 - Generation TEF: Teaching in the spotlight

The universities across the West Midlands formed a partnership to lead on an innovative project to review the Care Quality Commission Inspection reports for NHS placement providers across the region. An analysis of the data helped focus on the educational implications and actions needed to support students on placement and enhance the quality of learning environment. The aim of the session is to discuss the strategies implemented to assure students are placed in safe effective and caring practice learning environments that support and retain the future nursing workforce
