Teaching and Learning Conference 2019: Mentorship melding: Piloting a postgraduate mentoring network

This presentation focuses on a project aimed to pilot a postgraduate mentoring network for students studying MA Fashion Retail Management at London College of Fashion UAL. The project objectives are threefold:     To establish how mentoring fits within the collaborate learning mdel; to assess the role and benefits of mentoring for postgraduate students by offering both     an intra-alumni peer approach – supporting the transition process to M-level study and empowering self-directed learning; and      an inter-sector approach – partnering students and industry to support the transition and advancement of employability; and tTo determine the broader effects of mentorship on all stakeholders in order to propose its wider establishment within college provision.
