Using the NSS to inform strategic enhancement at university level

The presentation will draw on the finding from a two year university level study of the National Student Survey qualitative data. It will consider (i) the extent to which the open comments provided by students are able to shed light on the quantitative data (ii) the value of student involvement in the analysis of survey results and (iii) the relevance of the Herzberg theory in understanding student satisfaction and dissatisfaction with Higher Education provision.
