Alysa Ghose is a fixed-term lecturer in Social Anthropology with specialisation in the anthropology of race and efforts in decolonising at the University of Edinburgh. Her research focuses on Cuban religiosity of African origin as a lens to explore the way race, gender, sexuality and nation come together for religious practitioners.
