Dr Rashid is the founder of the Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) programme and an academic in Digital Marketing and Corporate Strategy. He has published in esteemed peer reviewed international journals, contributed book chapters, presented at academic conferences and is the co-author of the internationally renowned Digital and Social Media Marketing textbook published by Routledge.
Dr Rashid has over twenty years higher education experience of teaching, research and collaborations in the UK, Austria, France, Germany, Greece, Lithuania, Middle East and Pakistan. He is a Visiting Professor in Digital Marketing at the KEDGE Business School, France; University of Kaunas, Lithuania; and University of Vorarlberg, Austria. He is a board member of CIRCLE international and recently served as its President. He is a member of the Greater Manchester Combined Authority (GMCA) on International Higher Education GMCA-Pakistan forum, GMCA-Bangladesh forum and Manchester India Partnership; and invited as a key note speaker at the British Government Westminster International HE forum.
