Head of Internal Audit
After gaining the ACA qualification while at KPMG’s public sector division, Jon held roles in a large local authority, a pan-European utility business and a diversified retail organisation. In 2016 he joined the University of Birmingham to lead its Internal Audit function. Jon has experience as Vice Chair and Chair of Audit Committee at a residential Adult FE college, and currently chairs both the Trustees Board at a charity that works with those affected by domestic violence and the Institute of Internal Auditors’ Aspire community for early career internal auditors. Away from work, Jon has three sources of pride, joy and frustration; his two teenage children and Sheffield Wednesday FC.
