The College committed to raising awareness of and celebrating race-related action within its community. This included increasing development opportunities for staff, for example offering the STELLAR HE programme and BAME promotion workshops, as well as increasing College discussions/action around the awarding gap and curriculum diversity. The College also implemented the use of Equality Impact Assessments and created data reports around race-related activity. As a result, the institution achieved a reduction in BAME professional services staff turnover from 37.8% to 19.6%.
