“Play to Learn Accounting”: An interactive approach to deliver introductory Accounting modules - HEA Annual Conference 2017 - Generation TEF: Teaching in the spotlight

The aim of the session is to introduce and illustrate a newly developed interactive approach to successfully deliver the fundamental principles of the Introductory Accounting Modules to accounting and non-accounting learners. In this session I will: 1. Exercise the approach.; 2. Explain the rationale for developing and introducing this approach.; 3. Present feedback from learners.; 4. Discuss potential developments.; 5. Discuss potential applications of this approach in different disciplines.
