Baseline Evaluation of Education for Sustainable Development (ESD) in the Biosciences

A report published by the UK Centre for Bioscience in 2005 on Education for Sustainable Development (ESD) in the Biosciences. The Centre for Bioscience's first activity in this pilot project is to collect details of existing practice and resources in UK bioscience departments. To complement this we have collected views from a small number of employers of bioscience graduates in order to include their views of the importance of the sustainability knowledge and skills which bioscience graduates need now and for the future. This data has been used to provide a baseline evaluation of ESD in the biosciences.
