Career Mentoring Scheme

A summary of a project undertaken by Annette Baxter funded by the Psychology Network.

A wide range of career options is open to Psychology graduates but many of these options require graduates to undertake further postgraduate study extensive periods of work experience or voluntary work in order enter their professional career and secure training opportunities. One way to support students in developing such experience is through career mentoring. Staff at Sheffield Hallam University developed a Career Mentoring Scheme specifically for psychology students.
