Data sharing (DaSh) for collaborative learning in laboratories : Engineering Subject Centre mini-project report

This project was established to develop implement and evaluate learning technology to allow students to upload and share data in real time via the internet in order to promote collaborative learning. It was initially deployed within a laboratory setting where students were able to share data collected from their experiment with their peers and vice versa. In this way the system provided instant feedback to students allowing them to see their submitted data alongside their peers. It enabled students to appreciate the variability in data due to variations in nominally similar equipment and the uploaded data was used to enable rapid assessment by the tutor.
