Embedding employability in HE curriculum design: What can be learned from the student experience towards developing teaching excellence in the context of Arts and Humanities: Music? - HEA Annual Conference 2017 - Generation TEF: Teaching in the spotlight

This panel develops the TEF narrative to combine research practice partnerships and pedagogy (including technology enhanced learning) in embedding employability in the H.E. music curriculum with particular reference to students who intend to pursue a career in music. It draws from experience and research–informed teaching across three HEIs each delivering different music courses across a diverse student body and shares aspects across student voice research innovative pedagogy and assessment. Findings from a rich relational dialogue will be shared which are currently informing key curriculum strategies and skills to maximise graduate employment opportunities.
