Embedding Equality and Diversity in the Curriculum: Self-evaluation framework

The self-evaluation framework gives you an opportunity to reflect on your achievements to date in embedding equality and diversity within the curriculum. It is for use by individuals departments or whole institutions and can be used to benchmark progress in the embedding of equality and diversity within the curriculum. 

The framework has been developed by the Higher Education Academy for use by Scottish HEIs and colleges following consultation with representatives from both sectors. Its development has drawn upon the HEA’s work with institutions the QAA code of practice relevant sections of the HMIe quality framework and a research synthesis on inclusive learning and teaching.
