Enhancing learning through assessment: 'So when is the final exam then?' New forms of assessment and student engagement

This case study is aimed at a practitioner level and describes how changes in assessment strategies are both possible on a very large module and also can lead to a better student experience; in particular how they can provide some valuable early formative feedback to students in preparation for their examinations.
