Examinations and international students: prior experiences expectations and realities

A presentation from the HEA Annual Conference 2011 detailing international students' experiences of examinations.

Examinations remain the mainstay of most assessment diets; while international student research expands little focuses on exam experiences. Through interviews and questionnaires this project explored international students' examination experiences prior to and within Scottish higher education. This presentation describes the research findings and a resource to support exam preparation.
